Woehoe this drawing took ages...It was a (late birthday) gift for my dear friend

This is her Earth Demon character Hazel [link] in Lionform. On this artmeme [link] had to draw Hazel as a non-human animal so she thought...hmm maybe a lion fits well to him, and yeah it does! So she asked me to draw Hazel as a lion, of course in a forest because he has a strong connection with the nature!

For me it was a good exercise to practise my fur, lightings, composition and background skills....it took ages but after this exercise I think I can do it faster

But suggestions or advanced critiques are always welcome! Never to late to learn! hehe

Done with Adobe Photoshop CS and Wacom Tablet.
