Character Stian Sætansen
Description
Stian, my main siderian character - however NOT the main character of my comic Theory of Mind. He will be an important character in the next volume I'm working on - Reign of Siderians: Predator Control. Anyway, siderians are large, horse size feline with the gracious appearance of an Oriental cat and the power of a tiger. Finally, I managed to capture Stian's typical powerful and tiger like – or nearly bear-like way of walking. He walks heavily on the forehand compared to other siderians, with powerful, big steps and he always keeps his penetrating look focussed.
Another interesting thing which causes a lot of confusion is the pronunciation of his name - it's pronounced in the Norwegian way (google translate on Norwegian pronounces 'Stian' 100% correctly). It's like Ste (of Steve)-an (like the British pronunciation of the word 'ran', but even with a shorter 'a').

The animation consists of 17 frames with separate layers for the different background elements (which were a hell of a job to animate in a repeating loop).
Drawn with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and animated in Adobe Image Ready CS2 - and an uncountable amount of hours work...
