The Eurasian lynx - enjoying a winter day. The supervisor of my masterproject and artwork project at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA - www.nina.no ) talked about 'changing the attitude of people towards large carnivores' . Especially local farmers see predators often just a murdermachine...but in fact also carnivores are complete animals with feelings and 'a life'. So when he talked about it I got the idea to show another side of the lynx than only a predator.

Based on a photo I had of my cat Jayto, I got the idea of a lynx sniffing up the fresh winter air and enjoying the snow. Actually much like me

Done with photoshop CS2 and Wacom tablet in few hours - dunno, usually such projects take approx. 8 hours.
